Newcastle Disc Golf
The Newcastle Disc Golf Club successfully applied for a sporting grant from Newcastle City Council in 2010 and installed the course in May 2011. Since establishment there have been a number of events at the course, which is free to the general public and available to play any time.
When this happens, it's usually because the owner only shared it with a small group of people, changed who can see it or it's been deleted.
There was excitement all around the course at Maitland when Justin Bolam hit the ace and ran it in on hole 6. It was a picture perfect day for disc golf and 35 competitors had a tight tussle across the 4 divisions.

* Novice = Michael Smith
* Intermediate = Sheldon Maurer
* Advanced = Broden Sherratt (Playoff win over Clayton Beck)

Congratulations to all of our Jesmond Doubles winners for another great year of social disc golf at Jesmond Park, that's a wrap for this year until we're back with daylight savings in October. How many Chilly wins can you spot? 🤩
Our last night of Jesmond Doubles until October is cancelled, stay dry and hope for a sunny day on Sunday for our Maitland league.
Chilly and Brax took home the choccies (literally) tonight with a fine 20 on the Red tees. Happy Easter to all our disc golfers 😊
