Newcastle Disc Golf is running best disc Doubles every Thursday afternoon while daylight savings is on. Meet at the Robinson Avenue parking lot from 5:30pm, for the random draw, Pro players partnered with Am players, $2 for the round including the chance to win the $100 ace pot for any hole in ones.
For the first time, our monthly league day will make its way up to Maitland. On Sunday, 3rd November, a temporary 9 basket course will be set up at Stockade Hill Heritage Park from around 8:30am with league play commencing at 10am.
The Newcastle Disc Golf club in association with the Sydney Disc Golf club, are proud to present the NSW Disc Golf Open 2013.
The league day has been moved to Sunday the 11th August at Rathmines, Styles Point Reserve from 10am. There will be an 18 hole temporary basket course set up with the same layout as for the NSW Open. Newcastle Disc Golf Club will be running a learn to play event on Saturday July 6th from 12pm.
Come along and give Disc Golf a try - there will be discs for loan for free and a fun $5 event for 9 holes of golf, with prizes for the people who make it furthest around the course.
Newcastle Disc Golf will be holding the June league day on Sunday the 2nd of June from 10am. 2 rounds of 18 holes, using the same layout as for the Jesmond Jam in July, so a good chance to get some practice in. Including the brand new island hole on the 8th.
The 3rd Annual Jesmond Jam will be held the first weekend of July 2013.

Over the Anzac day weekend this April, Victoria are hosting one of the biggest disc golf tournaments of the year, the Victorian Disc Golf Open. A number of local players will be attending and you can follow our progress on the website: http://www.vicopen.com/

The weekend after Easter will be host to the next Newcastle Disc Golf League day. Fingers crossed we have better weather than last month, where the day was washed out due to very heavy rain in the area.
