Newcastle Disc Golf
The Newcastle Disc Golf Club successfully applied for a sporting grant from Newcastle City Council in 2010 and installed the course in May 2011. Since establishment there have been a number of events at the course, which is free to the general public and available to play any time.
A red hot 21 on the gold tees won the day for Josh and Simon at Jesmond Doubles tonight. Keep an eye out for our Koala Ham Christmas doubles coming up first Sunday in December.
Pink disc bros Jordan and Dave took out Jesmond doubles tonight in a tightly fought CTP battle over Peter and Michael I.
Our November league day at Maitland saw some humid conditions and hot rounds from the 26 competitors. Jordan took the CTP and Bryce was both the scratch and handicap winner with a new league day record round of (-12)

We had one eye on the scores in Mt Gambier but the round from Bryce and Rhys of 21 at Jesmond tonight outshone all competition.
Another great turnout for our weekly doubles comp at Jesmond. We had 2 groups who scored a hot round of 20, with Jordan and Hash winning the play off against Pete and Sheldon. See you all at the next social round next Thursday at 5.30pm.
